The race for who will be crowned MTN CEO for a day is heating up as the Lagos State Private Schools Spelling Bee enters the District Level stage of the competition. 210 students (top 3 spellers from each of the 70 participating schools) across 6 Districts will vie for a place in the grand finale of the competition. The top 5 spellers in each district will get a chance to vie for the ultimate winner crown in the grand finale. This maiden edition of the Lagos State Private Schools Spelling Bee, sponsored by MTN Nigeria, will have the winner of the competition crowned as MTN CEO for One day. The first part of the intra-school competition held from June to July 2019 across 37 private schools, while the second part of the intra-school competition held from October to November 2019 across 33 schools.
