SEA-HUB NATIONAL COMPETETION
Deadline: 7th November 2019

The first Student Entrepreneurship Activity (SEA) Hub National Competition for Secondary School students held on 7th November 2019 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja. The SEA Hub, a Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment Programme – SEDIN, implemented through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in collaboration with state ministries of education, was introduced as an extra-curricular hub where basic entrepreneurship training has been provided to over 14,000 students in 235 secondary schools in 4 states across the country (Niger, Ogun, Plateau, Edo). The training exposed students to the basics of running a successful business, opportunity recognition, risk taking, critical thinking, etc. The National Hub Competition was thus organized to show case entrepreneurial outcomes from the SEA Hub activities done so far. MTN mPulse was a sponsor of this year’s national competition which has the theme: Securing the Future of Young Nigerians. The top students from the competition smiled home with mPulse school bags amongst other gift items. Click button below to see pictures from the competition.
